This morning I began to think on how some only pray when they feel the urge to pray and this scripture came to mind.
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says pray “without ceasing.” Your continued prayers are stored up in heaven as treasure. I just want to remind you today that you cannot stop praying. Your prayers are prosperous they are of high value. They have the power to open doors and increase blessings.
Prayer is your weapon. You have to keep warfare praying as well. When it seems like everything is going good, keep praying. Keep covering your family and speaking against the troubles that hadn’t even happened. When soldiers go into the military, they train on how to use their weapon. When they are not on the battlefield they are training for victory. They cannot afford to wait for the enemy to come into camp and not have a confident method of combat. In faith, praying without ceasing makes you unstoppable. God said we are more than conquerors. Can I encourage you to pray like warriors! 🙏🏾💪🏾
